Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for the past 40 years. She is most famous because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). She began acting as a stage artist during the 1950s, beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then, she appeared on Broadway in various productions until 1957 in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. She also released her first album, titled It's Time to Tina during the same year. Her first appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre which was a 1958 drama. The film received widespread acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her friendship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. The next notable role she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up for in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career successfully between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she also has made an impact as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows like Supernatural and The 100. She was born on the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. When she was 3, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived throughout her early years. In 1997 after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
