Hayley Orantia is an American actor, musician and acrobat. A lot of people recognize her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television "The Goldbergs.' She is mostly a musician. At the age of 9 of age, she was playing around with music. As she grew to 12 old, music was taken seriously enough that she began professionally trained. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was 14 when she recorded her first collection of cover songs. From that point on, there's been no looking back. Orrantia has Hispanic roots, however she was born in the USA. Her family has Hispanic roots even though she spoke English as a child and lived her life in America. Her aim is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs and taking classes in the language. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she has recorded, is an illustration. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the X Factor's inaugural season during the summer of 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she received four "yeses" (or votes), from the judges at The Seattle audition. Her initial audition was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. But, three other female vocalists as well as her were grouped together to perform the rest of her songs. Live shows were staged in the 5th week.
